How Liu Yao predicts whether an evil force is doing mischief

1, Look at the presence of the Power Line 官鬼爻, analyze its strength, Kong Wang (void) or not, production & overcoming relations, line is moving or not etc. Look at the gods that accompany the Power Line, particularly Flying Serpent, Black Tortoise.

2, Look at the Branches of the Power Line, as well as the line position.  If Power comes as the bottom line and the Branch is Chen, Xu, Chou or Wei, and Power is strong, then it's earth god [my commment: usually not seen as evil force].  When the Line is strong, it's usually is god rather than ghost.

If the Self Line 世爻 is weak, then it's the first indication that the person is liable to ghost's attack.

Etc. etc. it's very length to translate.
