用神两现时的取法

很多卦中会出现两个爻的六亲相同的情况，如果此六亲被取为用神，就 叫“用神两现”。
Often we see 2 lines of the same aspects and if they are Useful Gods, they are called "Double Views of Useful God".

比如测子女，卦中有两个子孙爻，这两者都是用神的一部分， 相互补充。可以其中一个为判断的電点，另一个不看或作参考。
If divining about offspring's matters, there are 2 Offspring lines in the hexagram, both are parts of Useful God and supplement each other. We can use one as focus and ignoring the other (or using the other as a reference only).

取用方法为：
Ways to determine which one of the double Useful Gods to use: (the criterias listed below seem to be in sequence and carried over from the previous ones)

- 如果卦中只有一个是动爻则取动爻；
- If one is moving line, use that one.

- 如果两个都是动爻或都是静爻，则取旬空, 或；！破之交；
- If both are moving lines or both are non-moving lines, use the one with Heaven Void or "broken" by month (Yue Po - Month Breaker).

- 如果都不旬空月破，则取逢冲或逢合之爻
- If both have neither Heaven Void or "broken" by month,  use the one that is involved in a Clash or Combination.

-；如果都不逢冲逢合， 则取临世爻或临应爻之交
- If both are neither involved in a Clash or Combination, use the one that is also Subject or Object line.

- ；如果不是世应爻，则两个爻都取为用神，互相参考。
- If both are neither Subject or Object lines, use both Useful Gods as focus.

但也不必拘泥以上方法，如果卦中用神一个空亡一个月破，或一个是动爻一 个是空亡，则可以两爻都做用神。
But there is no need to be so dogmatic, if one is Heaven Void and the other Month Breaker OR one is Moving line and the other Heaven Void, both can be used as Useful Gods.

I agree with artoffugue. No need too strict on others’ way as it probably is different from the book or other master.

I base the liuyao cast on a book that is bought by myself in Indonesia.
The importance of casting is the month, the date, the cause, the effect and hexagram after change.
No change means good, too many change means the outcome is influenced by many factor. So it means volatile, and in the end, it reduce the probability of success.
Outcome gua determine on how / what way we can reach that.

One thing that I never do: I won't use liuyao for something life threatening or need medical advice.
I still not rely on tossing my life in three coins.

@senators613 It's in english but not everything is there. The juicy info are still in the Chinese books.

As @senators613  says, I also need and use the english version of liuyao.
Actually chinese also ok, but no time to read.
I agree that in order to memorize the logic, we need practising.

What I use for this double yongshen:
1. Month and day of divination is the key.
2. The line which falls into cause and effect would be read in first priority
3. Then the line which falls into yao
4. Then the line which falls into KW.
(But 3 and 4 equally important info supply 2).

Anyway, the one who is yao, KW, combo or clash, or has more "effect" with month and day would be selected because it is more active.

After reading through 卜筮全书, I have to say the information in the "professional" paid course is ONLY tip of the iceberg - ie; incomplete info. It's paid course yet the info is not complete! So to everyone out there, don't think you enrol into a paid course, you're getting complete info. Alot of info are NOT included in the "professional" paid course, including analysis of fate of a country.

If Six Lines divination can analyse the fate of a country, then what's the point of learning Tai Yi Shen Shu?
If Six Lines divination can analyse the escape route to escape from calamity, then what's the point of learning Qi Men Dun Jia?

Seems like Six Lines (Liu Yao) divination is seriously under-rated!
