Solar time chart vs Birth time chart

Hi guys! I know there is a constant debate bw using solar and birth time. Can I ask if how can I decide which one is more accurate for me?

I have had my Bazi read by a professional (who uses solar time) before, and according to him, I have a huge excess of Earth, which is also my detrimental element. And I need metal element and water element to balance my chart.

I know Joey yap uses birth time.i tried my chart using birth time, and I prefer this natal chart solely because I have more metal and less earth compared to the solar Time chart. If I use birth time chart, is my beneficial elements still both metal and water?

Hello. Now I will just give an example of why I think it is not correct to use time as it is. Qi is a concept from the 10th century from neo-Confucianism. Already for the Taoist BaZi is not an option.
Now a specific example with the place of birth. On the border between China and Kyrgyzstan, on one side of the border and on the other side of the border, two women give birth at the same time. The difference between the places of birth is 1 km. By solar time, BaZi cards will be the same for them. Is it logical? Yes. If you take the time as it is. It is possible that the difference will be a day and 4 hours. 12 times a year there will be another difference in a month, and once a year there will be a difference in a year. Is it logical? For me, it doesn't at all. This is if the time of birth is in the evening, when, according to Chinese time, a new day has already come. But in Kyrgyzstan it is a different time.
And one more mistake of those who use time as it is. The fourth pillar is the clock, in terms of mechanics it fully corresponds to the second pillar. And in fact, we are looking at solar time how many parts of 12 have already passed from the beginning of the day. As in the second pillar of the month.

Hi again. Your map is very complicated for a normal life. Very contrast. In the footsteps of good luck. 2003-2013 - loss of wealth. 2013-2023 the arrival of wealth. 2023-2033 loss of wealth. 2033-2043 difficult to achieve goals and indirectly loss of wealth. 2043-2053 is easy to reach the goal. 2053-2063 difficult to achieve goals and indirect loss of wealth. In fact, four periods of loss of wealth. Therefore, look for a job where everyone gives out, housing and food. Or on a rotational basis. And keep the money with a trusted person. Ur words seems to be in conflict with the bazi master I’ve seen? I’m a strong Earth DM so water element (representing my wealth) is a favourable element for me. I have this in my chart for the next 20 years of my life. I do see some loss of wealth too, but since water is a favourable element for me… things shouldn’t be too bad for the next 20 years?

I don't discuss other people's words about your BaZi card. You can choose who to listen to. I look at Taoist BaZi. It is very different from what others use. The load from your previous bad pillars of luck was taken on by someone close to you. Now you are also young and strong, and it is not you who can suffer from this again. According to the Taoist BaZi, wealth is yin fire for you. When transforming the soil of earthly branches, you can have three elements of yang soil and two elements of yin fire in your map. Even if you can accumulate wealth, the appearance of a yang soil or yin fire nearby, stronger than you, will take everything away from you. It can be a person or a trip to the mountains or a big city. My reading of the BaZi card is well understood by people 30-40+. Who have already heard enough fairy tales that tomorrow will be better than today. If you are young, just keep my words in mind. And compare with what is happening in your life.

My mum has a career. But works a 9-5 so she still comes home and spend time with my family after her work. My parents are still together though their relationship is not too ideal, but it’s not that bad. I’ve been in the science stream throughout the whole of my schooling life.

So I guess birth time is more accurate?

Yes Geng Shen hour is more accurate. It’s only 14 minutes difference between Ji Wei and Geng Shen (based on Solar time), so one possibility is your real birth hour was at 16:08 SGT or later, even though as far as I understand, Singapore hospitals are quite good in recording birth time but well, sometimes human error / mistake can still happen.

Btw I’m not defending solar time usage at all costs but I have read hundreds of charts (paid reading or free ones) and RST has never failed me. Anyways for your case, Geng Shen hour is the right hour for you.

It also means my quick reading in the other thread was using the wrong hour. If I have time, I’ll try to revisit it.

To answer your question in some way, in the Blindman's (Mangpai sect) school of thought, we don't use the concept of strong DM - at least not the way traditional Bazi uses the concept. We don't use the concept of beneficial (useful) elements, either. There are better techniques in Mangpai to analyze a chart rather than using weak / strong and useful god.

Between wealth and relationship, which one would you prefer to be read?
