Ya, omitted is the better word....maybe that time I was thinking of him as being sneaky LOL, hence used the word "shielded".

You are right.
There's too much to learn, different masters have their own strengths and weaknesses and English-language courses and books are just insufficient :(

I've taken bazi, qi men dun jia and feng shui courses but am also looking extensively at other books/websites/translations. Realised sometimes after comparing here and there - that what I had learnt earlier were distorted or shielded by the teacher.

That's true.

I really hope someone will accurately translate the Chinese books one day.

Not too sure how you are connecting to the deities, but since this is a topic on books, do let me know if you need any assistance. I'd be glad to share what we've been taught so far. Do PM me if you need the detailed info.

Personally, my guardian destiny deity is 9 Earth. DJY also has a calculation in terms of 7-star strength (that he calls proprietary - more of a branding strategy) but which I believe is derived from the hexagram computation to generate the number of stars each deity is. I myself do try to connect to some of the deities, though not on a daily basis, sometimes successfully, sometimes not. My 9 Heaven unfortunately is 1 star of out 7 (apparently I need more effort LOL) but somehow my 2-star Surging Snake seems to listen to me more when it comes to getting parking and asking the rain to stop.

I guess it is attunement and resonating with our subconscious in harnessing the power of the deities. The books don't really show anything on going into sage mode or alpha level, and the 64 to 1 counting method doesn't work on me - too draggy. 8 to 1 seems easier - saw one of his consultants doing it during the Qimen Academy so I tried to follow and it seems to work.

Some friends are obsessed with DJY, not just spending 30K+ alone but even 6 figures, which I think is so silly and many are thinking they are good enough to consult, when I can see their foundational knowledge is not strong enough. Sometimes I worry of the blind leading the blind and prescribe the wrong solutions especially when it comes to feng shui. After 1 feng shui academy in Singapore recently, quite a number of people are going around with a shiny luopan and thinking they are masters, when they are not.

Interesting. I do actually refer to the Akashic tarot daily and sometimes combine it with QMDJ readings for validation. There are occasions when Bazi is added in as well, depending on the reading.

CM is a continuous journey that never ends. I do wish I know how to read Chinese too. Not knowing is really a big setback. I also have quite a large collection of Joey Yap's books too - thanks to someone's generosity - some are quite repetitive and beat around the bush, but for someone who can't read Chinese, these are still considered precious gems.

Am also starting to read Benson Yeo's books. Not sure if anyone has read his. I downloaded from a book sharing site not too long ago. They seem interesting though and I see him having a lot of real life situational success whereby his students are applying his theories to resolve or improve problems caused by diseases/addictions.

Sun Tzu Warcraft would be good, more hands-on examples. After that, the compendium but it's very dry and over a thousand pages.
I did take his online course and live academy, but realised he doesn't really teach a lot. Too much upselling, few friends took the Qimen Club thingie and spent over RM30K. Can't see their knowledge improving but maybe CM isn't their niche.

90% of people do not have good Bazi charts. It's what we do with our lives, the actions that we take to improve the quality of life that will help to make the difference.

Perhaps you should tell us what you think in the first place, since you have this chart for the last 8 months.

At first glance, I felt that you were lacking in Wood and Water, so that's an initial imbalance.

But first ask yourself, where am I now? What do I want in life?

Perhaps, with that, we can use the Bazi chart as a guide.

How do you define what is Module 2?
What do you think is the syllabus?
I think there are already quite a few online bazi courses. No harm comparing.

I just finished 4 Days Bazi Academy....think they are shooting it to compile for online course, but otherwise, I didn't feel there was enough value for the price paid.

Hi there,

Chanced upon this forum this morning, coincidentally after taking a 4-days Bazi Academy which ended yesterday. I am still a novice, and am learning Bazi, Qi Men Dun Jia and Feng Shui to help improve life and along the way, help others at home as well.

Glad to meet everyone here. Hope to learn from all of you and to be able to contribute too.

Love, light and blessings to all.
